This volunteer organization has been formed to gather in all people of Special Needs. Who are we? The Mentally Ill, Fallen Soldiers, Alzheimers, Mentally Retarded, Downs Syndrome, Neurologically Impaired, Physically Handicapped, Autistic, Cerebral Paulsey... There are millions and millions of people with special needs. With your help, we can join together all of the fractured communities that communicate on a handicap-specific basis.
Our goal is to form an enormous database of all types of needs, under one umbrella for Advocacy, Support, and Information Sharing.
We do not want to compete with any Advocacy/Support groups. We seek no funding, grants, dues, or fees. Our mission is to form a grassroots organization to have our voice heard for meaningful legislation. We will also discuss on our pages topics such as: The stigma of the handicap. The way the well-children suffer. Handicap ediquette.
